User Friendly. Great for senior
I have bought another brand a month ago. The biggest differences between the one I bought and this one:
1. this one shows different colors for high and normal temperatures. I know what the normal temperature is, but surprisingly my senior relatives couldn't memorize. This color function is so friendly for them to use.
2. this one is easy to switch in between Celsius and Fahrenheit. People from Asia will prefer Celsius better.
3. Easy to switch in between body temperature and surface temperature. Just one click will do the work.
It's super user friendly for even senior to use.
Accurate and convenient readings
I love this thermometer! It works super fast. I've been wanting to get one of these for a while and am so glad I finally did. Now there's no contamination worries like with the older models. I am sure the accuracy is precise.
Convenient, lightweight, accurate and cute!
At first, I thought that the thermometer was too lightweight, but it is actually more of an advantage if you have to check multiple people as we had to do at our first indoor dog class tonight. I like that I can use it for my pets! In addition, it can be used to measure the temperature of objects! The thermometer will beep if temperatures are outside of normal ranges. I would definitely recommend purchasing this thermometer!
Better than a traditional thermometer! Accurate reading within .3 degrees of traditional thermometer
Obviously, with the world being what it is currently thermometers are now a necessary household item. My family has an oral thermometer that works well, but we were all getting tired of cleaning and disinfecting after every use. This thermometer yielded results that were nearly identical and can be used with gloves to avoid disinfecting after.
Even if you accept the fact that this is not 100% accurate, it does the job of making sure you know if you are in the normal temperature range and does so in about 1 second.
A good comparison for this is truly wireless earbuds vs wired earbuds. Even if the quality and accuracy of a wired set may be higher, it's something that you won't want with all of the advantages that a wireless set gives you except in very specific circumstances. Getting one of these will end up saving a ton of time, especially if you are taking your temperature daily!
Easy to use
I am a retired RN and this is so easy to use. Just add two AAA batteries, point and shoot. I am impressed. A button that switches from Centigrade to Fahrenheit for whichever you prefer. I highly recommend this to anyone. I even use it on my pets. It's wonderful to have in these times.

This is very much required during the covid 19 pandemic. I ordered this for my family. I have have a no-touch thermometer at home and it was really annoying to use an oral thermometer everyday. The product comes with good packaging and the manual is very clear. I like this infrared digital thermometer because it gives me a very quick measurement result for body and surface temperature.it measure in distance of 0.5 to 2.00 inch of distance which is good enough.
Very accurate thermometer and very easy to use.
Very accurate thermometer, easy to use, where I just point and pull the trigger....and the display picks up the temp instantly. I could not believe how fast this was, did a video to show. My temp at the doctor is exactly 97.9 and it shows exactly that now. No cons, very happy with the purchase.
Works great
This thermometer is so much easier to use, I take this one to my clinicals for school. Whether I test my hand or my forehead, it is only off by 0.1 degree each time. As you can see in the video, I pointed this at my hand and while it said 97, once I actually touched my hand, the temperature reading was 96.9. While my arm was cooler by 0.5 degrees, after I stopped the video, I took the thermometer and touched my arm and it again read 0.1 degree cooler. Changing the settings on this is as easy as pushing a button, as you can see. With the memory function, I'm able to track the temperature of either myself, a family member or a patient that I am treating that day. Really comfortable to hold and it fits in my scrub pockets. While my kids think it's a toy gun, I found this to be a very useful and trusting thermometer.
Low Temperature Fixed.
This product consistently measured 97.1 degrees from my forehead, while my actual temperature is 98.6.
I don’t think the surface of your forehead is ever the same as under your tongue.
So what I did is re-calibrate the device using the Seller’s comments...with one exception...I used my forehead instead of 98.6 water.
It was a little confusing for me to follow the sellers instructions due to the language translation and wording that they chose, so I took the liberty to re-translate. Hope this helps others.....
Disclaimer : Your device will no longer be accurate after adjustment using your forehead as a means of calibration.
This is how I adjusted my device.
1. Place the inaccurate device at an ambient temperature of approximately 73.4-80.6°F for more than 1 hour.
2. Add a certain proportion of hot water and tap water to the container, and use an accurate thermometer to monitor the temperature of the water in the container until the temperature of the tap water and hot water is 98.6±0.1F. (I used my forehead)
3. Turn on the device and press the buttons "MEM", "CF", "MEM", "CF", and "MODE" in sequence, the machine will enter the calibration mode at this time. Align the lense of the device with the “warm water in the container” (I used my forehead) for about 3-5 seconds, and then press and hold the trigger until you hear a "beep" (after the trigger beep) and then release the button.
4. After calibration, use the trigger to measure your forehead to see if the measurement result is around 98.6 degrees F......done.
