Very Clear Images
Some of the older reviews complain of the short USB power cord but the newer versions have longer cords that reach from a standard nightstand to the floor. This unit is much better than the previous one we had. The images are much more in focus and can be changed if desired. I hope the internals last a long time. The gears sound a little stressed when the unit is rotating. Maybe it will loosen up over time. It does make a little noise but our little one sleeps with a white noise machine so it’s a non issue. You will need a USB cube or a wall outlet with a built in USB port to operate or use batteries. We aren’t using batteries so I can’t

I got this night light projector for my kids. They love it.... I think I like it more than them. Lol
This thing is very cool. My kids have gotten toys before that project images on the wall or ceiling but they were all blurry or only limited to just one spot.
This one covers the ceiling and all the surrounding walls also. You can also set it to rotate. We all had a good time laying down and staring at the stars...in the room...it was a nice time with the whole family.
The images are very clear even when projected from the floor level. It's easy to use. One button changes the light colors and the other button changes the brightness and rotate. Simple.
It comes with USB cable (wall charger not inculded) so you can use your phone charger. OR use 3 AA batteries like I did and make it totally portable.
It also comes with several different themes(films) such as a birthday, sea, palnets,stars, constellations etc. You can also just cover the light with the cover that it comes with make it like a regular night light with no images projected. .
Overall, I love it. It's very cool and my kids look forward to night time to lay down and watch the stars. Which is good for me to get them in bed!
Super cool and great buy
I’ve had this for less than 12 hours and I love it. I got it for my two year old but I’m definitely more excited about it than she is. It comes with four films total, including its accompanying top pieces, and with the 3 light settings you get three “separate” versions of each one (at least the constellation one, haven’t checked out the other ones yet) it “looks” cheaply made but who cares, it works brilliantly and my two year old has man handled it and it’s still good. You can plug it in via usb that is included or put batteries in it. I love this thing and it will be treasured by my family. The only thing I wish is that it rotated.
Coolest thing ever!
I bought this for my daughter who is terrified of the dark, she will be 3 in January. I've tried nightlights, I've tried light up singing toys, and now I'm trying this. It was supposed to be a Christmas present to us both (she ends up in my bed a lot) but I gave it early. She loves it. We sat in her room for hours looking at the planets. They illuminated on the wall beautifully and she figured out how to make the colors change in a rotating way. I love how it comes with extra sleeves so she can pick what she wants the theme of the night to be. She was so excited for bedtime so she could look at it some more. Hopefully this will help her sleep through the night without getting scared (I will update either way). This nightlight is the coolest thing ever. I want one for my own room and I'm a 27 year old who isnt afraid of the dark!

Update: My son is finally staying in his bed all night. This has been a God send!
We just got this today, so we’ll see if it holds up and if it actually helps my 4 year old stay in his bed but I love it so far. Not only can you change out the picture, it has different color settings, brightness settings and you can make it rotate. The picture was taken at dusk before his room was even completely dark.
great for kids
This product is a really nice gift for kids, and even adults. The night lamp when lightened in the dark room feels like you're out in the woods, where theres no city glow, and feels like you're gazing in the stars. The quality of the pixel is really good and sharp image and the images move around.
There are a few films with different scenes and colors. you can adjust the lightness option to make it dimmer or brighter.
There is a USB cable that comes with it, it is kind of short, about 8 inches long. It also has the option to be used with batteries.
More than just a nightlight, may be the best one ever!
Lights up nicely..can choose from a more soft yellowish glow to a a blue hue... It turns slowly and comes with extra sheets with other designs, but the stars on blue are our favorite. It illuminates the entire room with stars, but it’s still dark enough to sleep. You can decide to stop the turning and cover it with the sheer cover that it comes with and just get a soft glow. Just absolutely love it. You can either use batteries (that we tried and it lasted for up to almost a week!...and it stayed on all night!) or you can plug it in and not worry about batteries. It can be for a girl or boy at any age! As a mother, I even liked it for myself!..ha!
I had read the reviews and when I purchased it we loved it! I personally think this may be the best nightlight and definitely recommend!

Pretty cool light. The cord should be longer but, otherwise, it's really good. My 3 year old son loves it. He likes being able to change the scenes.

Versatile Night Light with Nice Effects
So first let me say, I've tried similar devices in the past that have the projection effect, but the others were using a rotating base. This little gadget has a bit of a different approach to doing the same thing. What this does is it uses three lights in the center of the unit with changeable projection strips around the edge. When the lights cycle, they hit different areas on the strip, highlighting them (See video). If you pull off the center cover, it then goes from a light to a projector, and you have an additional rounded piece that projects from the top. So whether you want to do "Happy Birthday" or Under the Sea, you can switch it over in a few seconds. It also has several additional themes (6 in all I think). Lastly, you can adjust the effects so that it just uses one of the lights or you can use multiple lights and even make it blink. This would make a nice gift for a child and is something even us adults can have fun with.
Best calming light EVER!!
Just LOVE this light!! Was planning on putting it in a bundt cake (as a display) for my 1 yr old nephew, and then he can use it afterwards. I am pleased that it is silent and the images are clear. I also love that it doesn't spin too quickly so that it will be annoying. No issues, easy to use. Cannot wait until I bake the cake and place the light in the middle at the party!!!!
