Five Stars Are NOT Enough!
This is a fantastic robot! Before selecting, we looked at Consumer Reports, which recommended several others in the budget-friendly category. This one came out after that article. Had it not, I’m convinced the K700 would have won that division and been the top overall pic.
We have a 1,700 sq ft main floor covered in hardwood and carpet. The K700 was able to clean it all with ease on a single charge, not once or twice, but three times. Possibly more if we let it. First time was to vacuum. You can see the results in the image, which includes a previous vacuum the day before. Filled up the bin, even though we had vacuumed and mopped just a few days before.
Then we switched to mop mode. The instructions say use water only. Not sure why, but we did. Worked well, though I wouldn’t say this is its strong suit.
The video (if it loaded) shows it in mop mode. You can see the light film of water it lays down. Video also shows how it sees obstacles instead of randomly bumping into them, though it still will for objects like chair legs. You may get the impression the unit’s loud. Truth is it isn’t. I’d say its about as loud as running water, though at a lower frequency. Wouldn’t interrupt a phone call.
We have several pieces of furniture with clearances under 4 inches that are hard for us to clean under. The K700 had no problem whatsoever. It zipped right under each and went to town cleaning. It also did a great job navigating around the three legs of our baby grand and four of its bench. And it protected itself from falling down stairs, which it did via sensors underneath the front. Several times it stopped and turned around at just the right moment.
The remote control is almost all you need to completely control it. Only thing it might not do is raise the vacuum suction to high, which I did by hitting the control button twice on the device itself. The remote allows you to tell it to start cleaning, which it does in ‘auto’ mode without need for supervision or direction. Another button tells it to clean the edges of your house. Another directs it to spot clean, while a fourth tells it to return to the docking station to charge. Finally, there’s pause control and directional arrows to manually tell it where to go. So while it lacks Wi-Fi connectivity or an app to download, it doesn’t need one. The result is a device that gives users arguably the greatest bang for the buck of any robot vac on the market.
Only weakness I saw was it had difficulty locating the home base to recharge. There is a fair amount of furniture my unit needs to navigate around. After several failed attempts, I finally had to steer it with the remote. However, when it finally saw it, it docked perfectly.
In addition to the unit and remote control, the shipment also included two bins, one for vacuuming and the other for mopping, two washable mop cloths that velcro to the mop bin, a cleaning tool, batteries for the remote, and an adequately detailed owner’s manual.
This is a very solid and smartly built little device. Clearly not a first-gen or a cheaply made machine. A lot of thought went into it and it shows.
My only regret is I’m limited to five stars. Seventeen seems more like it.
I’m thanking the heavens for mommas helper
I’m impressed! I have a roomba also and this little gal sure is rising to the occasion! She’s quieter and really smart. I even scored a $100 off coupon. This bad mamajamba is probably going to be my favorite little helper!
outstanding product
Other brands vacuum cleaners mostly black or white, the pink design of The K700 robot vacuum cleaner surprised me. It has strong suction, can easily absorb animal hair and some particles, and it has a good wiping function, which can easily wipe off stains. The only drawback is that it cannot be used with a phone, but it is equipped with a remote control that can set the working hours. I usually ignored it, because it is almost silent at work, It can automatically bypass obstacles, this function reduces the noise caused by collisions. It is an outstanding product.
Great product
Great product. I used it a few times already. I love this Yeedi k700 robot vacuum. First, it looks so pretty. The color is white and rose gold on the edge which is the favorite color I like. Secondly, it clear so good. When I first use, I thought it’s better clear the floor with another vacuum then using this Yeedi k700 to mop the floor, so I did so. After the Yeedi K700 done it’s work, I found out there are some dirt inside the cane. It means Yeedi K700 ready done it’s deep cleaning job. Also, the Yeedi K700 is very easy to use, the cleaning clothes is easy to take out and clean. I have a one year old baby, she love to climb on the floor. I have been looking for a good deep cleaning vacuum for a while. Thank goodness. Yeedi K700 is the right one for me. Now every other day before bed, I just turn on the Yeedi K700. The next day morning, the floor will so shine and clean and my baby can climb where ever she want. I really love the Yeedi k700.
OBSESSED
I use this little robot every single day and my apartment has never been cleaner! The mop feature is great as well. I have a pretty big lip at the entrance of my bathroom so I was worried it would have trouble going over that, but it doesn't have any issues! Exceeded my expectations. I've been telling my family and friends they need one! Buy one and you won't regret it.
Very good for a low cost vacuum
I have 3 dogs (40 to 60 pounds) and a dirt backyard. Everything gets covered in a fine brown dust and there’s always a little grit on the kitchen floor. If you’re looking for something that can be hooked to the internet and set to vacuum at 3AM, you may be disappointed. (I don’t have Alexa, so I don’t know if it’s possible or not.) However if you’re interested in a robot vacuum that will do a good job while you wash the dishes (or whatever), this Yeedi is for you. I’m pleased with the way it holds a pattern and finds its way back to the charging dock. I think the vacuum sucking power could be a little stronger on the higher setting, but for the price, it’s exceeding expectations. By the 2nd run I could feel a difference in the lack of grit on the floor. I run it daily and don’t have dog fur balls anymore.
Best Ever! Three Animals Too! Three friends purchased yesterday due to my experience
I received Yeedi K700 yesterday morning. She came with a lot of charge which allowed me to test her out immediately. I was so excited because I have read reviews for YEARS and never purchased. My floors never seem to stay clean because we are such a busy family and I can not stand dirty floors. We have three animals. A Mastiff, Himalayan, and Persian. We have hair! I vacuumed all flooring before putting her to the test. I have a Kirby vacuum and Yeedi has a stronger suction. I woke up yesterday inspired to organize my whole house because Yeedi will with along side me! She is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about her.
I have fringe on the bottom of my couch. I thought she got stuck in it, but NO. She paused for a minute as if she was thinking what to do then suddenly came out of it. Another time she got in a corner and I thought she was getting stuck. Her motor went quiet for half a second. I thought Oh, no! She broke. But within a second she suddenly figured it out and went on her way.
I love that she comes preprogrammed to work in a pattern the same as if I was going to vacuum or mop.
I have a 3500 sq ft house with carpet, tile and wood and several throw rugs. Yesterday, the first day—- Although I had vacuumed prior I dumped the bin 3 times.
Today she has finished the whole house and I have not dumped once. I believe she ran for nearly two hours before telling me she was going back to charge.
I do not know if there is an alert when needing to be dumped. Yesterday I didn’t give her a chance. I did not want to over load her - by chance.
Yesterday, after she vacuumed the house I exchanged the insert to mopping. She mopped my kitchen floor. There is not much water that comes out which I see as a plus. I’ve read other reviews for other brands that say there is streaking and too much water comes out— slip hazard. It seems she mops and dries a bit at the same time.
The area in the picture that has hardwood next to carpet I could not figure out how to keep her off the carpet while moping. So I put her empty box in the walkway (as pictured) and it did the trick. She mopped the kitchen seamlessly!
I let her go over one of my rugs in the kitchen on the mop setting. The rug was not wet!! I assume water does not come out while going over a rug. I only did a test and did not want to possibly damage her so I removed my throw rugs while mopping.
The only con that is likely not a con to others is that she does not fit under the lip of my kitchen cabinets. I believe this is the home builders fault. From the lip to the floor is just a bit less than 3”. If it were 3” she would fit like she did under my armoire in the video attached. I do not see this as being an issue because she has little sweepers that extend a little & move in a circular motion as she moves. It seems if working her every day those areas will be covered.
I paused and picked her up to move her to different areas in my house. Of course she can not locate her docking station when paused and moved but she will go back to the exact spot where you restart her.
Bottom line: I have never owned one before and really considered the Roomba but after reading the reviews and the price point I couldn’t pass it up.
There is no WiFi or Alexa connection which I love those features and use Alexa a lot! BUT do not see them necessary for this product. It seems this company exchanged those type of features for better quality where it counts!!!
I was not paid to write this review or given a free product. I paid for the product. They had a coupon of $80 so that was a bonus for anyone on Amazon
I have raved to my friends and family about this product. Three people ordered this robot yesterday due to my experience. Everyone needs one!!
Great machine, be skeptical of the poor reviews.
The vacuum works very well and navigates well. People leaving poor reviews are probably a bit clueless or the vacuum has a problem. Much better value than the over marketed, high-priced, well-known brands which you are paying for the mass marketing and mass advertising costs, not the actual machine.
The robot is supposed to bump in to things then change direction. The internal mapping works well. Very seldom the robot finds a place it cant maneuver out of. When it is time to return to the charger, it does take time to find the base and it looks like it is wandering aimlessly, but it does eventually find the base and start charging.
The only down fall, there is no app. And to those trying to connect to wifi, it doesn't, duh!
All in all, it has been a great machine well worth the $199 we spent.
Too many people have become lazy and expect way too much from this robot...geez, you have to rescue it...too much work/effort. Does not connect to echo, alexa, etc., gosh, just press a button on the remote to start it. Has the world gotten this lazy?
This is our second as we also have a Tesvor which has an app but only vacuums, does not mop. It is a great machine, too.
Be skeptical of the not so good reviews as all robotic vacuums will get hung up at times. Anyone that expects it not to, should buy a $700 robot and see the same occasional issues , but paying for the mass marketing and advertising. It is your money, be smart with it.
